Doggy Workout

So, yesterday I was doing my "Tough Mudder" workout, and my dog wanted to play, play, PLAY!

So when I was finished I got down to do my ab workout, and grabbed his tug rope.  Doing my normal "lift and lower legs and arms" routine, I played tug with him.  Letting him thinking he was winning when I lowered my arms, and pulled him across the floor when lifting my arms back to 90 degrees.

Then we did a little triceps.  Let him stand at my head, and I did ti pulls (or that's what I call them).  Let me tell you it was a great workout!  I think I am going to try to incorporate him more into my routine!

Oh yes it is!!!  If you are busy, on teh road often, or just on a long trip... remember to pack a cooler full of good foods.

It will 1) save you money 2) save you time on your trip and 3) save your waistline and your health!

Plus, eating healthy on your long journey will keep you more alert and you will avoid the "food coma" from over eating and eating greasy foods.


Awesome Booty Workout!

I will definitely have to try this.  It is a 7 day challenge, that is pretty intense!  It is getting hot out there, so bikini butts is a MUST!

I am going to do this starting today for my trip home and to the river for Kayaking!!  WOO HOO!  I got to be ready for any photo op! :)

My beautiful boy!!

I have been a little distracted by the new addition to Kyle and My household.  However, we have been going out everyday to walk and run and go to different doggy parks.  It has been very fun!

We took it a little to hard on Wednesday, and Ding hurt his right front paw.  He is better today, we went for a small walk this morning.  Tonight we will relax and watch a movie!

It's Monday, Monday, Monday

It's MONDAY!!!!

Had a great relaxing weekend.  Today is chest and back day, unfortunately yesterday was chest and biceps day, so my upper body is going to be HORRIBLY sore come Wednesday.

But, looking at the bright side, I may be sore Wednesday, but I only have Thursday and Friday until the weekend.... OK, getting a little ahead of myself.

Liz comes home the week, which is SO exciting.  I am so happy to finally meat her little peanut Farah!  She is so stinking cute, and her and Ella Ann will be GREAT friends/cousins.

The weather has been so icky recently, I am excited to get back to the gym and for the sun to come out!  Getting beach body ready!!!!!

Slowly but surely

I am getting closer!!  A week off and now back to it!  Eating well and getting fit :)

On my mind

In college i used to lift 8-10 lbs thinking that would give me tone and definition. I was satisfied with my workouts then. I am now lifting 20-25 and breaking a sweat during weight training.   That didn't happen before. 

New motto: " live.learn.improve."

Finding I am more capable than i thought is even more gratifying! !!!
