For me this is good and bad. I look forward to summer because that means baseball games, day drinking, and festivals!
It is nice to get out an be active. The thing I need to focus on through April (all summer, really) is going to the gym BEFORE I go anywhere.The old work hard play harder mentality. If I don't work, I can't play. It is going to be very hard to stay strict on this, but I am going to try my hardest!
My workout will only need to be 30 minutes (of course longer is better), shower, and go! That really will only take about an hour out of my "party". Not really a bad thing! Plus, I will feel better and more confident! Who wouldn't want that?
April double workouts also start. Cardio in the morning, lifting in the evening, have to look great in that two piece! Plus with Tough Mudder in August, I do not want to be the lazy wheel of the group. I have to excel and beat everyone's expectations!
What a great summer it will be!
